The bus ride from Quito to Cotacachi is about 2 hours, so you need comfort for a winding and bumpy ride. That is exactly what I got, including my baggage – 4 suitcases, all for $2,25.
Compared with having every sin committed in a life time, that is expensive. It is available to everyone who acknowledges that Jesus paid the price, by dying for the sins of the world. Salvation in Jesus Christ is free! I cannot understand why so many people refuse this once in a lifetime offer!
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 1:9)
Just before we left Quito, we decided to have lunch at a Café that we visit each time that we go to this interesting city.
This dear lady who serves us each time, lacks hearing, but she certainly does not lack love. She is infectious!
We’re on the bus. We’re on our way!
Snacks are freely available along the way!
The menus differ and you enjoy a “handy” service. Now, why were we in such a hurry to eat?
You missed out on a meal because you were napping. Never to worry, there are many more instant meals along the way.
Fresh meat on demand. “Axed” on site, and the price is right!
Need dessert? Try these “never melt” ice creams. No freezing required. Perhaps just an umbrella! They remain a mystery to me.
Home at last! The ride home was pleasant and uneventful. Another pleasant surprise awaited me . . . . . . . . .
My son, Earl, welcomed me home with flashing LED lights on our Christmas tree. What a warm and wonderful welcome! Thank you, Earl!
I cannot but help wondering what God has in mind for our home-coming, after our long journey here on earth, and thereafter.
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (I Corinthians 2:9)
I really wanna taste that never melt ice cream...
