CHERISHED CHILDREN - “Era en Ecuador”

“A little child shall lead them.” (Isaiah 11:6)

. . . .if these children are led to the Lord. How important Children’s Ministries are! How relevant will be the Scripture: “Out of the mouth of babes” (Psalm 8:2). The sweet lisps of Jesus on their lips could be instrumental in leading adults to the Lord.

“By their fruits you shall know them.” (Matthew 7:16)

“Or what man is there among you who,if his son asks for bread, will he give him a stone? . . . how much more will your Heavenly Father who is in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him?” (Matthew 7:9; 11)

“These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” “And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them . . . . . You give them something to eat.” (Matthew 15:8-9; 14:14; 16)

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands . . . .”  (Isaiah 49:15-16)

“Put on the whole armor of God. that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  . . . . having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to  quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God . . . . . ” (Ephesians 6:13-17)

“Put on your beautiful garments . . . . .”  (Isaiah 52:1)  “The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.” (Isaiah 61:3)

“For God so loved the world ,. . . . .” (John 3:16) “And I will save your children.” (Isaiah 49:25)

“Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth. . . .” (Ecclesiastes 12:1)

“And I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring . . . “ (Isaiah 44:3)

“Set a guard, O Lord, over the door of my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.” (Psalm 141:3)

“If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. Indeed we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us. and we turn their whole body.. . . . . . Out of the mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.” (James 2:2-3; 10)

“Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it. . . . Behold, your King is coming, sitting on a donkey’s colt.. . . . . when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! The King of Israel!” (John 12:14; 12-13)

“Then the Kingdom of Heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. “Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this receives Me." (Matthew 18:4-5)

“The daughters saw her and called her blessed . . . .” (Song of Solomon 6:9)  “But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30)

“As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He has mercy on us.” (Psalm 123:2)

We cherish our children, but do we cherish them enough to lead them to Jesus?  “. . . . . his mother crowned him . . . . .”   (Song of Solomon 3:11)
