Loves of my Life - Part 2

 

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37)

I love to be in God’s house, to meet with Him, to praise and worship Him, and to hear His precious Word.

I love to teach God’s Word.

I love animal lovers.

And animals love them, too.

I loved my short term gift that God gave me. It reminded my so of my loving parents.

I’ll do anything for those I love, even jump over a 90 ft cliff backwards (secured to a rope), I’ll prove to them that I love them.

I love Ecuadorean music . . . . . .

. . . . . Wind instruments . . . . . .

I love my Christian brother in Ecuador. Listen! He is reading his Bible to you.

I love the down and outs, and the unloved.

I love to take time off from cooking, and to visit my favorite restaurant in Cotacachi.

But most of all, I love to gain great heights for God.

So you see it is not that beautiful rosebud, or that “fattening” chocolate that spells love. It is first and foremost that love that God places in our hearts, and then it is taking that love and pouring it out on others.

Can you say, like Peter, one of Jesus’ disciples, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love you.” (John 21:17)
