MOTHER IN A MILLION!!!!

 

Today, with an ache in my heart, and tears in my eyes, I am honouring a special Mother, who went to be with the Lord, at the young age of 45 years. She left behind her husband, and two children. Her name is Sheilah, and she left for Heaven on 29 January, 2003 – the last patient that I nursed in my ministry for Cancer sufferers. This precious woman, in her frail little body, had the greatest love for others that I am yet to see. Did it have anything to do with being deprived of a mother’s love? Yes, I believe it did, but her secret was JESUS. She loved HIM!

Precious members of this lovely lady’s family, my special thoughts and prayers are with you today  -  29 January, 2012.

 

Jesus came down and gently took His daughter from this bed, out of her pain and struggles, to His Mansion in Heaven. It was in this very spot, that I promised her that I would be available to her daughter, Nicki.

Nicki has gone through extremely difficult times, but Jesus has been at iher side. No doubt, her Mother interceded much for her beloved family.

Five days before this sad ninth anniversary, God sent a blessing into Nicki’s life, for which she craved for many years . . . . . . . . . . . .

 

Sheilah, you graced the REST-a-WHILE CANCER MINISTRIES with your presence and your love. What a privilege to have held you as a precious RUBY for a few days before Jesus took you to your Heavenly Home. What a loss to your loving family!

 

A mother and a daughter – two rare RUBIES in my life – two rare RUBIES that will be united one day in Heaven, never to be parted again. No more tears, no more sorrow and no more suffering and pain! “God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus”. (I Thessalonians 4:14) – You will see Mom again, precious Nicki!

“I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are Thy works . . . “  (Psalm 139:14)

 

Daddy Daren holding your little treasure! In I john 2:12-14, we read of three stages of  a man’s life  – little children – young men – fathers. What a responsibility you have, Daren, as the father of this precious child. Be his example from childhood, in his youthful years, and one day when he, too, will be a father. God make you His image for this little child to follow.

“Children’s children are the crown of old men . . . “ (Proverbs 17:6)

“Pappou, congratulations on your beautiful grandson. May God touch you and grant you good health, and many years to watch this child grow into a man after God’s own heart.”

 

Nicki – “Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages” (Exodus 2:9) At all costs, this precious one must one day join you and Mom in Heaven.

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.” (Psalm 127:3)

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because He trusts in you.” (Isaiah 26:3)

“She delivered a male child . . . .”  (Isaiah 66:7)

 

“My son, keep your father’s command, and do not forsake the law of your mother.” (Proverbs 6:20)

 

“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22)

 

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart . . . . .”  (Proverbs 3:5)

 

“They brought little children to Him that He might touch them . . . “ (Mark 10 : 13)

 

“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the Kingdom of God. Assuredly I say to you, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter into it.”
